We’re looking for a senior developer to be part of making this happen. **About the Role** As a **Senior Developer** , you’ll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high\-performance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. You'll mentor junior developers, drive architectural decisions, and work closely with front\-end engineers, security teams, and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems. **What You’ll Do** * **Accelerate Application Development:** Rapidly develop new applications leveraging a robust existing enterprise platform * **Build to scale** : Develop highly scalable software with optimal performance * **Lead Feature Innovation:** Drive the development of new features and improvements in a dynamic and evolving environment * **Collaborate for Customer Value:** Partner effectively with Product Management, Design, and QA to deliver cutting\-edge solutions and direct customer value * **End\-to\-end Contribution:** Work across multiple layers of our technology stack, with a primary focus on backend development and DevOps **What You Bring** * **Deep Java Expertise:** 7\+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong preference for experience within enterprise cloud software companies * **Quality\-Focused Code:** Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code within a collaborative team setting * **Open\-Source Proficiency:** Hands\-on experience with a range of open\-source technologies including Spring, PostGres, Maven, Git, Mockito, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes * **Relational Database:** experience with relational databases and expert\-level SQL skills * **Mentorship:** Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and contribute to a positive and high\-performing team environment * **Excellent communication skills:** A good communication is the key to perform the role better. **Bonus Points for** * Experience with **containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS)** and cloud\-native architectures. * Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)** . * Strong experience with **Git** for version control. * Interest in cybersecurity and security operations. **About the Company** At Arctic Wolf, we foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that thrives on diversity of thought, background, and culture.
