Senior Engineer - Production

• Oversee and manage all aspects of production operations for automotive steel components, CNC Tirning, Hobbing, Shaving and OD grinding
• Ensure efficient and high\-quality manufacturing processes are maintained, meeting production targets and customer specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization within the production department.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet demand for automotive steel components and rubber products.
• Supervise and guide the production floor team, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fine blanking, machining, and rubber molding.
• Monitor production performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield, cycle time, and scrap rate.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures at each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure parts meet stringent automotive specifications.
• Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all production machinery and equipment, including stamping presses, fine blanking machines, CNC centers, and rubber processing lines.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, promoting a zero\-accident workplace culture.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Investigate production variances, quality issues, and equipment downtime to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Train new employees and provide ongoing development for existing staff to improve skills and operational knowledge.
• Manage shift operations, ensuring effective handover and communication between shifts.

Pay: ₹450,000\.00 \- ₹650,000\.00 per year
