Job Description

  • *Job Summary**

The Multi\-Skilled Technician – Facility \& Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of all facility\-related infrastructure across Athaayu Uro care centers. The incumbent will be based in Pune and will travel extensively to various hospital locations to maintain high operational standards, minimize equipment downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • *Facility Maintenance**
  • Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, plumbing, civil, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure uninterrupted functioning of hospital infrastructure and utilities.
  • Perform routine inspections of all facility equipment and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Attend emergency maintenance calls and resolve issues within defined timelines.
  • *Electrical \& Mechanical Systems**
  • Maintain electrical panels, UPS systems, DG sets, lighting, power distribution systems, and wiring.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate major repairs when required.
  • Monitor generator performance and fuel records.
  • *Plumbing \& Civil Maintenance**
  • Attend plumbing complaints including leakages, drainage issues, water supply systems, and sanitary fittings.
  • Carry out minor civil repairs such as masonry, painting touch\-ups, tiling, and false ceiling repairs.
  • Ensure washrooms and patient areas remain functional at all times.
  • *HVAC \& Utility Systems**
  • Perform routine maintenance of air conditioners and ventilation systems.
  • Coordinate annual servicing of HVAC equipment with vendors.
  • Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy\-saving initiatives.
  • *Medical Facility Support**
  • Assist in maintaining medical gas pipeline systems (where applicable) under supervision.
  • Coordinate with biomedical teams for infrastructure\-related requirements.
  • Ensure OT, consultation rooms, wards, and support areas remain operational from a facility perspective.
  • *Preventive Maintenance**
  • Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all centers.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.
  • Track warranty and AMC/CMC schedules.
  • *Vendor Management**
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance work.
  • Supervise vendor activities and ensure work quality.
  • Verify completion of work before processing vendor bills.
  • *Travel \& Multi\-Centre Support**
  • Travel regularly to all hospital centers as per maintenance schedules or emergency requirements.
  • Conduct facility audits and submit maintenance reports after each visit.
  • Support new hospital setup, renovations, and infrastructure expansion projects.
  • *Safety \& Compliance**
  • Ensure compliance with NABH standards related to facility management.
  • Adhere to fire safety, electrical safety, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in plant and utility areas.
  • *Documentation**
  • Maintain maintenance registers, service reports, inventory of tools and spares.
  • Submit periodic maintenance MIS and breakdown analysis reports.
  • Report recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • *Educational Qualification**
  • ITI (Electrician/Fitter/Wireman/Plumber) or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certification in electrical safety or facility maintenance will be an added advantage.
  • *Experience**
  • 2–4 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in hospitals or healthcare facilities.
  • Experience in handling multi\-site operations will be preferred.
  • Exposure to NABH\-compliant hospitals will be an added advantage**.**
  • *Preferred Candidate Profile**
  • Strong technical knowledge of hospital infrastructure and utilities.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Hands\-on approach with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable travelling across multiple locations.
  • Good interpersonal and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work during emergencies.
  • *Travel Requirement**
  • Base location: Pune.
  • Frequent travel to all Athaayu Uro care centers across Maharashtra and Karnataka (or other operational locations as required).
  • Availability for emergency visits outside regular working hours, whenever required.

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
