Job Description

• Manage procurement accounting from receipt and verification of procurement documents through accounting, payment processing and final account closure.
• Verify procurement quantities, approved rates, supporting documents and ledger balances; account for debit notes, nursery charges, advances, commissions and other applicable adjustments.
• Prepare and process accurate, timely farmer and organiser payments in accordance with approved terms, authorisations and internal controls, in coordination with Treasury.
• Ensure timely creation and maintenance of farmer and organiser masters, including verification of identity, bank and applicable tax details.
• Complete lot\-wise and season\-wise settlements, reconcile outstanding balances, obtain account confirmations and resolve discrepancies with Production, SCM and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and prepare COGS workings, bank stock statements, payment schedules, outstanding reports and other required MIS.
• Coordinate forex payments and related documentation with Treasury and banks.
• Support periodic financial closure and audits through ledger scrutiny, schedules, supporting documents and timely resolution of observations.
• Strengthen process controls, maintain documented procedures and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and accountability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in procurement accounting
• payment processing
• reconciliations and final settlements.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage the complete procurement accounting cycle and meet payment
• reporting and closure deadlines.
• Hands\-on experience with ERP accounting systems and proficiency in Excel
• including lookups

Education Qualification

• Bachelor of Commerce
• Chartered Accountant \- Intermediate Course

Work Experience 3\-5 years
