We are looking for a skilled and detail\-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial records, identifying profit improvement opportunities, detecting losses and unnecessary expenses, and providing strategic financial advice to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, sales reports, expenses, and business performance data.
- Identify areas of profit leakage and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor business costs and suggest ways to improve profitability.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations for growth.
- Review inventory, purchasing, and operational expenses to improve efficiency.
- Ensure financial records are accurate and well\-maintained.
- Assist in business planning and decision\-making through data\-driven analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations to management regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and business analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, supermarket, or grocery business operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
