Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a **Senior Front\-End Engineer** for a full\-time position (40 hours per week) in Latam. Our client is a quantum computing hardware and software company.
You'll build the customer\-facing surface of the agentic framework. You will use the existing GUI design language to ship the Trust Score dashboard, the recommendation\-review UI, the evidence\-trail explorer, and the agent action approval flow. Without this role, Phase 1's Trust Score has nowhere to live. You are the engineer who decides what an operator sees, in what order, and with how much friction before an autonomous action is allowed to run.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7\+ years of experience in building production frontend applications.
- Strong knowledge of React or Vue with TypeScript. You have shipped non\-trivial dashboards in one of them.
- Experience integrating frontends with both REST and gRPC backends (including streaming).
- In\-depth understanding of observability and operator UX patterns — you have experience in building or using Grafana\-, Datadog\-, or Splunk\-class dashboards, and you know why they work.
- Security\-mindset design: least\-information defaults, role\-aware views, audit\-friendly UI, careful handling of sensitive fields.
- Be comfortable co\-specifying APIs with backend engineers; you do not wait for the API to exist to start designing.
- Understanding of reading and applying an existing design system (e.g., GUI language) and extending it consistently rather than reinventing it.
- Hands\-on experience with networking across load\-balancers and/or WebSocket; running production workloads in Kubernetes at scale; containerized distributed systems; Helm charts.
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience in working with security, compliance, or AIOps dashboards.
- In\-depth understanding of data\-visualization (D3, Plotly, ECharts) for non\-trivial chart types.
- Experience with Accessibility standards (WCAG) — required if the customer is on a federal track.
- Experience with frontend on large, streaming data sets.
- Familiarity with design tooling (Figma) so you can pair cleanly with designers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Internalize the GUI design system and extend it to cover new surfaces the agentic framework introduces — Trust Score, evidence trails, approval workflows.
- Design and implement the Phase 1 Trust Score dashboard end\-to\-end: information hierarchy, charting, drill\-downs, and the empty/degraded / loading states that real operations will run into.
- Build the recommendation review UI and the agent action approval flow with a security mindset: least\-information defaults, audit\-friendly UI, role\-aware views, and clear who\-did\-what\-and\-when.
- Specify the APIs you consume together with the backend engineers — REST and gRPC — so contracts are agreed before code, not after.
- Own frontend observability and frontend\-side QA in cooperation with the QA/Test Automation Engineer; Playwright or equivalent end\-to\-end coverage of critical flows.
- Carry the design conversation: when there is no designer in the room, you bring the design language with you, and you flag the moments that need a real review.
