Senior Full Stack Developer – AI-Augmented Development

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Full Stack Developer – AI\-Augmented Development** to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, production\-grade software applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong full\-stack engineering capabilities, hands\-on experience integrating Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, and practical expertise in AI\-powered software development tools.

The successful candidate must demonstrate end\-to\-end product ownership, from technical discovery and system architecture to implementation, automated testing, production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. Candidates should have practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or equivalent tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and reliability.

This role is suited to engineers who combine strong software engineering fundamentals with modern AI application development capabilities and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.

• *Key Responsibilities:\-**

1\. Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high\-performance web applications across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Develop robust backend services, business logic, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL integrations using Node.js or other suitable backend technologies.
• Design and implement reusable components, modular services, maintainable codebases, and scalable application architectures.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, development plans, estimates, and deliverable milestones.

2\. AI\-Augmented Software Engineering

• Use AI\-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or equivalent platforms as part of the regular development workflow.
• Leverage AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation, test creation, and code review.
• Critically validate AI\-generated code for correctness, security vulnerabilities, performance, maintainability, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Apply effective context engineering, prompt design, and AI\-assisted problem\-solving techniques to accelerate development without compromising software quality.
• Establish responsible AI\-assisted development practices, including human review, testing, and secure handling of source code and sensitive information.

3\. LLM and AI Feature Integration

• Design and implement AI\-powered application features using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or equivalent LLM APIs.
• Develop intelligent chat assistants, text summarization, information extraction, classification, semantic search, and other AI\-enabled product capabilities.
• Implement Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using document processing, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval strategies.
• Integrate function calling, tool calling, structured outputs, and multi\-step AI workflows where appropriate.
• Develop effective prompts and evaluate AI responses for relevance, accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Implement safeguards against hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, and inappropriate model outputs.
• Optimize AI features for latency, token consumption, API costs, scalability, and user experience.

4\. Database Design and API Engineering

• Design and maintain relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Implement efficient queries, indexing strategies, database migrations, transaction handling, and performance optimization.
• Develop, document, secure, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate third\-party services, authentication and authorization systems, payment services, messaging platforms, and external APIs as required.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, access control, and appropriate error handling.

5\. Testing, Code Quality, and Automation

• Develop and maintain unit, integration, API, and end\-to\-end automated tests using tools such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, regression suites, and release\-readiness checks.
• Use AI\-assisted testing techniques to improve test coverage and identify potential edge cases.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and identify opportunities for refactoring.
• Diagnose defects through systematic debugging, root\-cause analysis, and preventive engineering improvements.

6\. Deployment, CI/CD, and Cloud Infrastructure

• Build and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Deploy, configure, and support applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate on environment configuration, secrets management, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Implement appropriate application logging, monitoring, metrics, alerts, and health checks.
• Support secure, reliable releases with rollback plans and minimal service disruption.

7\. Production Support and Product Ownership

• Take ownership of applications and features throughout the complete product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production support.
• Monitor live applications, investigate incidents, resolve production defects, and perform root\-cause analysis.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems through bug fixes, security patches, dependency upgrades, performance tuning, and code refactoring.
• Execute database migrations, data correction scripts, and controlled backfills when required.
• Reduce technical debt while protecting application stability and business continuity.
• Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, and release notes.

8\. Collaboration and Technical Leadership

• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Communicate technical risks, progress, dependencies, and delivery timelines clearly.
• Promote effective collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and responsible AI adoption.

• *Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:\-**

Candidates must demonstrate practical, project\-level experience in the following areas:

• **Professional Experience:** 6–10 years of software development experience, including end\-to\-end delivery and ongoing maintenance of production applications.
• **Frontend Development:** Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and hands\-on experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• **Backend Development:** Strong backend development expertise, preferably with Node.js, including API design and implementation.
• **AI Coding Tools:** Practical, regular use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or equivalent tools.
• **LLM Integration:** Hands\-on implementation of LLM APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or equivalent models, in real applications.
• **Prompt Engineering:** Experience designing, testing, and refining prompts for reliable application\-level AI functionality.
• **RAG Implementation:** Practical experience with Retrieval\-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector search, and document retrieval workflows.
• **Database Engineering:** Working proficiency in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design, SQL queries, indexing, migrations, and optimization.
• **API Development:** Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• **Testing and Quality Assurance:** Practical experience with unit and integration testing, automated test suites, and tools such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• **DevOps and CI/CD:** Experience with version control using Git and automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• **Cloud Platforms:** Hands\-on deployment or application operations experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• **Production Ownership:** Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving live production applications.
