Healthcare RecruiterJob Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Healthcare Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to meet organizational staffing requirements. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for clinical and non\-clinical healthcare roles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple hiring priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of healthcare talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Negotiate compensation packages and extend employment offers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare hiring regulations, credential verification, and background checks.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and hiring requirements.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular hiring status updates.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and networking activities.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare staffing.
- Experience recruiting healthcare professionals such as Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, allied health professionals, therapists, and administrative staff.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare staffing agencies or hospital recruitment.
- Knowledge of credentialing and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Professional certification such as SHRM\-CP, PHR, or Talent Acquisition certifications.
