Job Description

A **Senior Industrial Engineer** is responsible for improving productivity, reducing costs, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient use of resources across manufacturing or service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Design and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, and process optimization.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Plan factory layouts and optimize material flow.
  • Analyze production capacity and workforce requirements.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining product quality.
  • Lead projects related to automation and digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Mentor junior industrial engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
  • Support new product introductions and process validation.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 5–10\+ years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and leadership abilities.
