Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead our design projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for translating client briefs into stunning, functional spaces, overseeing the creation of detailed design packages, and mentoring junior design talent. The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of exceptional creative flair, robust technical knowledge of construction and materials, and a proven track record of managing high\-end residential or commercial projects seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities 1\. Concept \& Design Development Lead the creative direction of projects, developing unique design concepts, mood boards, spatial layouts, and material palettes. Present concepts confidently to high\-profile clients, effectively communicating the design narrative and rationale. Ensure all designs align with the client’s vision, budget, and structural feasibility.

2\. Technical Execution \& Documentation Oversee and review the production of comprehensive design documentation, including detailed GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, electrical layouts, plumbing plans, and custom millwork/joinery details. Approve material specifications, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF\&E) schedules. Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.

3\. Project \& Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, MEP consultants, and external contractors to ensure design intent is flawlessly executed on\-site. Conduct periodic site visits to review progress, resolve design discrepancies, and approve finishes.

4\. Team Leadership \& Mentorship Guide, mentor, and review the work of junior and mid\-level interior designers and 3D visualizers. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high\-performance studio culture. Assist in optimizing design workflows and standardizing delivery templates. Required Skills \& Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.

Experience: 6–9\+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successfully executed premium residential or commercial projects. Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office are essential. Experience with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign), or rendering software (V\-Ray/Lumion) is a major plus. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ergonomics, materials, estimation/BOQ (Bill of Quantities), manufacturing techniques, and site execution workflows.
