Job description

• **Strategic Planning and Direction:**
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
• Assess current and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Ensure IT infrastructure and systems are optimized for performance and efficiency.
• **Budget Management:**
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost\-effectiveness and resource allocation.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage IT spending.
• **Team Leadership and Management:**
• Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance and support.
• Build a high\-performing IT team capable of meeting the organization's needs.
• **Security and Compliance:**
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• **Project Management:**
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• **Vendor Management:**
• Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet performance requirements.
• **Communication and Collaboration:**
• Communicate IT matters effectively to both technical and non\-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT solutions meet their needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• **Education:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; Master's degree or certifications are often preferred.
• **Experience:** Extensive experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success.
• **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software, networks, and security.
• **Leadership Skills:** Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
