A contractual agreement is sought wherein the professional shall make monthly visits to the property Urvashi's Retreat, Shanag Road, P.O. Bahang, Tehsil Manali\- 175103 (H.P.). The professional must remain available in case of emergency (remote call or on site visit)
The key responsibilities for the role include
- Efficient IT Incident and Service Request management
- Regular interaction with users towards effective and timely closure of daily issues pertaining to application software, hardware, communication \& network
- Effective inter\-departmental coordination towards seamless IT delivery
- Effective management of guest IT / Internet requirements and direct interaction as and when
required
- Application\-level support management
- IT infrastructure management
- Data network management
- Effective user management
- Training of users for effective usage of IT systems
- Effective vendor management
- Management of vendor teams for effective support to both internal and external customers
- Effective data backup management
- Rendering well\-coordinated assistance towards IT related initiatives and projects
- Development of mechanisms and processes for minimal / no systems downtime/disruption
- Ensuring IT compliances, IT policies \& procedures and IT continuity processes
- Ensuring comprehensive coverage of IT equipment through time bound AMCs/SLAs and
compliance to software licensing norms
- Timely and efficient management of IT related purchases, deliveries and implementations
The Ideal Fit
- PG Diploma in IT along with Graduation or BCA
- 3\-4 years of experience in Hotels IT support and services
- Adequate exposure to IT infrastructure, hardware, software and networking systems preferably
in hospitality domain
- Has exposure to hotel software applications notably Oracle based Opera PMS, Sales \& Catering
(optional) and Simphony POS cloud or on\-premise, interfaces and distribution/CRS. Knowledge
of diverse hospitality solutions such as IDS\-FX cloud or IDS Professional on\-premise, Ecobillz,
MessageBox, etc. will be considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of LAN and WAN management
- Proficiency in Server/Desktop/Laptop/Printer Management **Working knowledge of E\-mail management**
- Exposure to EPABX / Communication systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft 365 Apps for business, Microsoft Client
OS (Windows 11 Professional or higher) and Server OS (Windows Server OS 2022/2025 or
higher)
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Document Protection, Firewalls/ Data Security, File Server
support and End\-Point Protection (EPP), i.e. Antivirus systems, etc.
- Basic level exposure to IT compliance, IT policies and procedures and IT continuity processes
- Familiarity with management of IT related AMCs and SLAs
- Familiarity with procurement of IT related hardware and software for hotels
- Good communication and relationship skills with ability to collaborate with internal and external
customers
