About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure \& Network Engineer in Ahmedabad to own core networking, security, servers and communication systems for our international clients. The candidate will act as the escalation point for the L1 team, handle complex issues independently, and ensure network, security and system uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Network \& Security

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Sophos firewalls: policies, NAT, VPN (site\-to\-site and remote access), web filtering, IPS and firmware updates
• Manage core networking: LAN/WAN design, VLANs, inter\-VLAN routing, STP, link aggregation and network segmentation
• Configure and troubleshoot L2/L3 switches (Cisco, HP/Aruba, D\-Link or similar)
• Configure and manage routing: static routes, OSPF/BGP basics, ISP links, failover and load balancing
• Configure and manage wireless access points and controllers: SSIDs, security, roaming and coverage
• Monitor network security, review logs and respond to security incidents
• Implement security best practices, access control and patch management

Servers \& Systems

• Administer Windows Server: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and print services
• Install, maintain and back up SQL Server databases; handle basic performance checks and user access
• Manage Microsoft 365: user and license management, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive and security settings
• Manage server backups, restoration and disaster recovery readiness

Communication \& Devices

• Configure and support RingCentral and Vonage cloud telephony: users, extensions, call routing and number setup
• Install, configure and troubleshoot IP phones
• Configure and maintain eSSL biometric attendance and access control devices, including network integration
• Manage power backup systems (UPS) and ensure uptime of critical infrastructure

Team \& Process

• Act as the L2/L3 escalation point and mentor L1 engineers
• Handle critical tickets and outages within SLA, with root cause analysis
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration backups and documentation
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors and OEMs for support and replacements
• Proactively identify risks and recommend infrastructure improvements

Required Skills

• Strong hands\-on experience with Sophos firewall
• Strong knowledge of switching, routing and core networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, VPN, NAT)
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory
• SQL Server installation, backup and basic administration
• Microsoft 365 administration
• RingCentral and Vonage telephony, plus IP phone setup
• Wireless access point configuration
• eSSL device configuration and UPS / power backup management
• Excellent English communication for US/UK clients
• Strong troubleshooting, ownership and ability to work under pressure

Preferred

• CCNA / CCNP, Sophos Certified Engineer/Architect, Microsoft (MCSA / Azure / M365\) certifications
• Experience in managed services or supporting international clients

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or related field

Shift Requirement

Must be comfortable with rotational US and UK shifts, including nights and weekends as per roster, and on\-call support during critical issues.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
