Senior Java backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled **Java Developer** with strong expertise in **Open\-Source technologies**, **REST APIs**, **Kafka**, **Spring Boot**, and **Unix/Linux environments**. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in backend development and be comfortable working with **DBMS** systems in high\-performance, scalable environments.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using **Java** and **Spring Boot**.
• Develop and integrate **RESTful APIs** to support front\-end functionalities and third\-party integrations.
• Leverage **open\-source libraries and tools** to deliver high\-quality solutions efficiently.
• Work with **Kafka** for building reliable, scalable data pipelines and streaming services.
• Write efficient database queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance across various **DBMS** platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Operate within **Unix/Linux environments**, write shell scripts and troubleshoot server\-side issues.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain high coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other developers in an Agile environment.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4\+ years of hands\-on experience in **Java (8 or above)**.
• Strong understanding of **Spring Boot** and Spring ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Micro Services and collection, Design patten and Data Structure
• Proven experience in developing **RESTful APIs**.
• Proficiency in using **Kafka** for real\-time data streaming.
• Solid experience with relational **DBMS** (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Familiarity with **Unix/Linux systems** and shell scripting.
• Experience working with open\-source tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.

• *Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• **Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)**.
• **Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.**
