We are looking for aBusiness Systems Analyst (BSA) to join ourAPI Development Microservices team (SOA), responsible for bridging business needs with enterprise\-scale digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofAPI\-led architectures, microservices, and system integrations, combined with proven experience inrequirements analysis, functional design, and stakeholder collaboration within complex BFSI environments.

The BSA will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure business requirements are clearly translated into scalable, secure, and reusable APIs and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis

Engage with business stakeholders to understand functional, non\-functional, and integration requirements.

Elicit, analyze, and document requirements in the form of BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Translate business processes into system workflows, APIs, and microservices interactions.

Ensure requirements alignment with enterprise architecture, SOA principles, and digital transformation goals.

API Microservices Analysis

Define functional specifications for RESTful APIs and microservices, including request/response models, error handling, versioning, and SLAs.

Collaborate with Architects to align solutions with API\-first, domain\-driven, and reusable service design principles.

Identify integration points across internal systems, third\-party applications, and partner ecosystems.

Support API lifecycle management including onboarding, documentation, and consumption standards.

Agile Team Collaboration

Act as a key member of Agile squads, working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

Convert business requirements into prioritized user stories and backlog items.

• *Stakeholder Communication:**

Act as a bridge between business, development, QA, DevOps, and support teams.

Communicate status, issues, and risks in a transparent and timely manner to senior stakeholders.

Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and scalability standards.

Key skills required

Strong experience as aBusiness Systems Analyst / Functional Analyst in digital platforms.

Good understanding ofJava\-based systems, SOA, Microservices, and REST APIs.

Hands\-on experience in writinguser stories, API contracts, and functional specifications.

Familiarity withAPI Gateway concepts, integration patterns, and event\-driven architectures.

Exposure to containerized and cloud\-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure).

Tools Methodologies

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Proficiency in tools such asJIRA, Confluence, and collaboration/documentation platforms.

• *Good to Have:**

Experience working onAPI\-led / integration\-heavy platforms in BFSI.

Exposure to cloud\-native or legacy modernization programs.

Prior experience supporting large\-scale digital transformation initiatives.

B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MSc\-IT

7\-10 years of experience with hands\-on software development background.

Experience in BFSI industry.

Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or SAFe Agilist certification.
