Senior Manager - Operations

• *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and results\-driven **Senior Manager – Operations** to lead and optimize end\-to\-end logistics and operational activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, service quality, and scalable growth across transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Supervise and control all transportation activities across branch and operational locations.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement for full truckload (FTL), part truckload (PTL) and dedicated vehicle requirements.
• Plan and optimize vehicle utilization, route allocation, load consolidation and dispatch schedules.
• Monitor daily operational activities at branch and ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Ensure timely booking, loading, unloading, dispatch and delivery of consignments.
• Review pending consignments, undelivered shipments, delayed deliveries and operational exceptions on a daily basis.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of proof of delivery (POD) and other delivery\-related documents.
• Investigate shortages, damages, misrouting, transit delays and other operational discrepancies.
• Establish effective coordination among branch in\-charges, warehouse teams, drivers and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, loading and unloading of consignments to prevent damage and loss.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide branch managers, operations executives, transport coordinators and other operational staff across NCR.
• Define responsibilities, work allocation and performance expectations for branch teams.
• Review branch\-wise performance, productivity, service quality and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and performance dashboards
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost\-control initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations managers and teams
• Collaborate with sales, finance, IT, and customer service to ensure seamless operations
• Manage vendor, carrier, and third\-party logistics (3PL) relationships
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans

• *Required Qualifications**

• Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or operations will be an advantage.
• 10\+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations
• Minimum 7 years in a senior management or leadership role
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms
• Proven track record of operational optimization and team leadership.
• Proficiency in MS OFFICE, Email Drafting, PPT's
