Nutanix is looking for a Senior Manager, Private BFSI Sales for India Sales to lead and expand our Private Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and FinTech business across India.
This leadership role will be responsible for driving Nutanix's growth strategy within the Private BFSI segment, building executive\-level relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Heads of Infrastructure, and Digital Transformation leaders. The successful candidate will own the Private BFSI business plan, revenue growth, customer acquisition, partner ecosystem development, and strategic account penetration across India's leading private sector banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, stock exchanges, wealth management firms, and emerging fintech organizations.
The role requires a proven enterprise technology sales leader with deep understanding of BFSI business priorities, digital transformation initiatives, cloud modernization, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, AI adoption, and mission\-critical infrastructure environments.
Nutanix's India Enterprise Sales organization is focused on helping customers modernize their infrastructure, accelerate digital transformation, and simplify hybrid multicloud operations.
The BFSI vertical represents one of Nutanix India's most strategic growth segments. You will lead a high\-performing team of account executives and collaborate with solution specialists, channel partners, systems engineers \& regional leadership, product teams, alliances, and global industry specialists to drive market leadership within the BFSI sector.
Business Leadership \& Growth
- Own and deliver the Private BFSI business strategy and revenue targets across India.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for Private Sector Banks, Insurance Companies, NBFCs, Wealth Management Firms, Capital Market Institutions, and FinTech organizations.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition within the BFSI segment.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast accuracy across assigned accounts and regions.
- *Executive Relationship Management**
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with C\-level executives including CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Business Heads.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business transformation priorities and align Nutanix solutions accordingly.
- Drive executive sponsorship and strategic account planning across key BFSI customers.
- *Strategic Account Management**
- Lead Nutanix engagement with major private sector banks, insurance organizations, NBFCs, securities firms, and fintech companies.
- Penetrate new accounts/logos, business units and decision\-making groups within existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities related to cloud transformation, data center modernization, disaster recovery, AI infrastructure, end\-user computing, and application modernization.
- *Partner Ecosystem Development**
- Build strong relationships with strategic system integrators, global consulting firms, technology alliances, and channel partners serving the BFSI sector.
- Develop joint go\-to\-market initiatives to accelerate customer acquisition and solution adoption.
- Drive partner\-led growth and customer success programs.
- Engage customers through a value\-based consultative sales approach.
- Develop compelling business cases, executive presentations, proposals, and transformation roadmaps.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technology partners.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high\-performance BFSI sales organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer\-centricity.
- Work closely with Solution Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Alliances teams.
- *Market Intelligence \& Industry Expertise**
- Stay abreast of BFSI industry trends, regulatory developments, cybersecurity requirements, cloud adoption patterns, and emerging technologies.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to Nutanix leadership and product teams.
- Represent Nutanix at industry forums, executive roundtables, and BFSI conferences.
- 18\+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with significant exposure to the BFSI sector.
- Proven leadership experience managing large enterprise sales teams and strategic accounts.
- Strong track record of exceeding multi\-million\-dollar revenue targets and driving profitable growth.
- Deep relationships across India's private banking, insurance, NBFC, wealth management, capital markets, and fintech ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of BFSI business models, regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and digital transformation priorities.
- Experience selling infrastructure, hybrid cloud, virtualization, cybersecurity, data management, AI platforms, or enterprise software solutions.
- Knowledge of RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, NPCI, and financial industry compliance requirements.
- Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong business planning, forecasting, and strategic execution skills.
- Ability to influence senior decision\-makers and lead complex enterprise engagements.
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and scale high\-performing sales teams.
- *Technical \& Commercial Acumen**
- Understanding of cloud platforms, data center modernization, virtualization, cybersecurity, AI/ML infrastructure, and enterprise IT architecture.
- Experience managing large transformational deals and strategic outsourcing engagements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), CRM platforms, and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
- Achievement of annual BFSI revenue and growth targets.
- Expansion of Nutanix footprint across strategic private BFSI accounts.

Hybrid work model with regular engagement across customer locations, Nutanix offices, and industry events. Extensive travel within India will be required to support strategic customer relationships and business growth initiatives.
