Job Description

The Senior Manager \- Training at Axis Max Life Insurance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. This role involves working closely with various departments to assess training needs, design effective training modules, and evaluate the impact of training initiatives on employee performance and organizational goals.

The Senior Manager will lead a team of trainers and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the training content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess training needs across the organization and develop strategic training plans.
• Design and develop training programs, materials, and curricula that meet identified needs.
• Facilitate training sessions using various methodologies including workshops, e\-learning, and blended learning approaches.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of industry trends and training methodologies.
• Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business objectives.
• Manage training budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of funds.
• Lead and mentor the training team to foster professional development and high\-performance culture.

Skills and Tools Required

• Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training delivery tools.
• Ability to analyze data and assess training effectiveness.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory training requirements in the insurance sector.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Ability to adapt to and implement new technologies and training methodologies.
