Senior MERN Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior MERN Stack Developer** who is passionate about building scalable web applications while leading a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the MERN stack, excellent communication skills, and proven experience mentoring teams, collaborating with cross\-functional stakeholders, and driving projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high\-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Lead and mentor a team of developers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Break down project requirements into technical tasks and assign work effectively within the team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery of high\-quality products.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision\-making.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, retrospectives, and estimations.
• Ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high development standards.
• Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions clearly with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6\+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong expertise in:
• React.js
• Node.js
• Express.js
• MongoDB
• JavaScript (ES6\+) / TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and third\-party integrations.
• Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and scalable architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Leadership \& Communication

• Proven experience leading a development team of 4–10 engineers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct technical knowledge\-sharing sessions.
• Experience in code reviews, performance feedback, and technical interviews.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage project priorities.
• Strong ownership mindset with excellent problem\-solving and decision\-making skills.

Pay: ₹800,000\.00 \- ₹1,500,000\.00 per year
