Senior MS SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior MS SQL Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database development, query optimization, and performance tuning. The candidate will be responsible for developing complex SQL solutions, maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and data integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Design and manage database tables, indexes, schemas, and relationships.
• Perform query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Analyze execution plans and resolve slow\-running queries.
• Work with large datasets and complex database structures.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes.
• Perform database troubleshooting, debugging, and root\-cause analysis.
• Implement indexing strategies and improve query execution efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and database reliability.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and technical teams.
• Support database deployment, migration, backup, and recovery activities.
• Follow SQL development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of hands\-on experience in MS SQL Server development.
• Strong knowledge of T\-SQL, complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, and window functions.
• Expertise in stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and relational databases.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Knowledge of transactions, locking, blocking, and deadlock resolution.
• Experience in troubleshooting database performance issues.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSIS and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of SSRS and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduled tasks.
• Experience with database migration and production support.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or other cloud database platforms.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
