About the Role

We are looking for a hands\-on **Senior .NET Engineer** with strong experience in supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing complex, established applications.

This is **not primarily a greenfield development role**. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with legacy applications, understanding existing code and business logic, troubleshooting production issues, tracing data across multiple application layers, and implementing changes safely without impacting critical financial operations.

You should be someone who enjoys understanding how an existing system works and can confidently identify and resolve issues in a complex production environment.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing .NET applications.
• Analyze legacy codebases and understand application architecture, business logic, and data flow.
• Investigate and resolve production issues through debugging and root\-cause analysis.
• Trace issues across application, database, API, service, and integration layers.
• Develop and implement fixes and enhancements while minimizing impact on existing functionality.
• Work extensively with SQL Server, stored procedures, query optimization, and database performance.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate REST, SOAP, WCF, and other enterprise services.
• Support Windows Services, batch jobs, scheduled processes, and background applications.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS and Azure.
• Work with Azure VMs, Azure App Services, and Azure API Management/API Services.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting approaches, and application dependencies.

Experience in the **Banking or Financial Services domain is strongly preferred**.
