We are looking for skilled and hands\-on **Senior Network Migration Engineers** to support a large\-scale Cisco network infrastructure deployment and migration project across multiple enterprise locations in Bangalore. Engineers will be responsible for pre\-migration preparation, migration execution, post\-migration activities, and onsite troubleshooting support.

Candidates should possess strong experience in Cisco hardware deployment, rack and stack activities, structured cabling, patch management, wireless access point installations, and migration support within enterprise IT environments.
Scope of WorkPre\-Migration Activities
- BOM verification and inventory validation
- Relocation and unboxing of Cisco devices
- DOA (Dead on Arrival) checks for network hardware
- Asset tagging and hostname labeling
- Assistance with Cisco IOS upgrades and basic configuration
- Pre\-racking of equipment prior to migration windows wherever applicable
Migration Activities
- Installation of Cisco switches in designated rack positions
- Labeling and reconnection of patch cords based on port mapping sheets
- Installation and labeling of uplink cables
- Troubleshooting and migration support during cutover activities
- Decommissioning and removal of legacy devices upon approval
- Replacement of legacy wireless access points with new Cisco WAPs, including mounting, anchors, and fixings
Post\-Migration Activities
- Packing and relocation of legacy equipment to designated storage areas
- Completion of QA checklists and migration documentation
- Site cleanup and handover support
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware verification and deployment readiness checks
- Execute rack and stack activities for Cisco switches and network devices
- Support Cisco IOS upgrades and basic device configuration tasks
- Install, label, and manage structured cabling and uplink connectivity
- Execute migration activities as per approved implementation plans
- Install and replace Cisco wireless access points (WAPs)
- Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues during migration windows
- Coordinate with onsite leads and project teams for migration execution
- Maintain accurate deployment records, labeling standards, and QA documentation
- Adhere to SOPs, ESD handling practices, and site safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- 4\+ years of experience in network deployment, migration, or infrastructure support
- Hands\-on experience with Cisco switches and wireless access points
- Experience in rack \& stack, structured cabling, and cable labeling
- Basic understanding of Cisco IOS upgrades and configuration
- Ability to interpret network diagrams, rack layouts, and port mapping sheets
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work in night shifts, weekends, or migration windows as required
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA / CCNP certification or equivalent
- BICSI Installer 1/2 or CNCI certifications
- Experience supporting enterprise network migration projects
- Knowledge of structured cabling and cable management best practices
- Familiarity with data center and communication room environments
- Understanding of ESD handling and hardware safety procedures

- Engineers may be deployed across multiple sites within Bangalore based on project requirements

- Lead Engineers should have prior experience handling migration coordination and onsite technical supervision
