Senior Odoo Techno-Functional Developer

Handle end\-to\-end Odoo ERP implementation, customization, development, and support.

Work with Odoo versions 18, 19, and 20, including version\-specific development, customization, and upgrades where applicable.

Gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

Develop custom Odoo modules using Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, OWL, and Odoo ORM.

Configure, implement, and customize Odoo modules across Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Invoicing, POS, Manufacturing, Project Management, and HR.

Implement and customize HR modules, including Employees, Recruitment, Attendances, Time Off, Payroll, Appraisals, Expenses, Employee Contracts, and Planning.

Develop custom reports, dashboards, workflows, automated actions, and business process integrations.

Integrate Odoo with third\-party applications, external ERP systems, payment gateways, and APIs.

Use AI\-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and implementation.

• Review, validate, debug, and optimize AI\-generated code to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Perform data migration, module upgrades, testing, UAT, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
• Manage Odoo deployments on Linux servers, cloud platforms, and Odoo.sh.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Coordinate with clients, conduct demonstrations, provide user training, and prepare technical documentation.
• Independently manage implementation tasks and ensure timely project delivery.

• *Required Technical Skills**

• Minimum 5 years of hands\-on Odoo development and implementation experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, SQL, XML, JavaScript, OWL, and Odoo ORM.
• Experience developing custom modules from scratch and extending standard Odoo functionality.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, third\-party integrations, and report development.
• Practical experience with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and AI\-assisted development workflows.
• Knowledge of Linux, Git, server administration, deployment, and database management.
• Ability to write, understand, debug, and maintain code independently without relying entirely on AI\-generated solutions.
• Strong communication skill

• *Required Functional Skills**

• Strong techno\-functional knowledge of ERP business processes.
• Experience implementing Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, POS, and HR modules.
• Understanding of accounting workflows, inventory operations, sales processes, and HR policies.
• Ability to conduct requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, functional configuration, and solution design.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, conducting UAT, and providing post\-implementation support.
• Ability to independently handle client\-facing functional discussions and hands\-on technical development.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in retail, distribution, van sales, manufacturing, or industry\-specific ERP solutions.
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and AI\-powered workflow automation.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem\-solving, and project ownership skills.
