Senior Operations Manager

• Provide cross sector oversight of operational risk and control execution across Public Markets Private Markets and Credit
• This is a controls leadership role not an operations delivery head or owner of CPP Investments risk appetite
• 10 years in investment operations controls operational risk audit quality or related first line control functions

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• ------------------------

• Maintain a consistent operational control framework control inventory and evidence standards across the three sectors
• Monitor SLA KPI KRI trends exceptions incidents operational losses and recurring control failures
• Coordinate incident governance root cause analysis corrective preventive actions and remediation tracking
• Support RCSA and first line risk routines challenge control execution and identify opportunities for standardization or automation
• Coordinate internal external audit walkthroughs sampled evidence SOC report reviews and management action plans
• Track remediation owners target dates evidence and closure status escalate overdue or high risk items
• Produce cross sector control reporting and facilitate governance reviews with delivery leads and CPP Investments
• Ensure CPP Investments retains risk appetite risk acceptance policy interpretation fiduciary accountability and final approval authority

• *Technical Requirements:**

• Strong investment operations control knowledge spanning trade processing corporate actions collateral private credit accounting valuation support and data controls
• Exposure to Data Fabric Tableau Excel SQL databases control repositories issue trackers and SOC audit documentation
• Strong analytical challenge executive communication audit coordination and influence without assuming retained decision rights
