Senior Performance Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Performance Test Engineer** to join our team and drive performance testing initiatives across complex projects. In this role, you will design and execute robust performance test strategies, collaborate with cross\-functional stakeholders, and leverage modern monitoring tools to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of business\-critical applications.

• *Responsibilities**

• Develop and author performance test plans aligned with project objectives
• Design peak workload models based on historical usage data and logs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate response time requirements
• Evaluate and recommend the rightsizing of performance test environments
• Analyse application risk profiles and align them with performance test objectives
• Translate objectives into test types and monitoring strategies
• Build performance test harnesses using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and BlazeMeter
• Oversee test execution, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
• Prepare and publish customized reports tailored to technical teams or senior management
• Support root cause analysis activities in both production and non\-production environments

• *Requirements**

• 6\-10 years of experience in performance test engineering
• Expertise in Apache JMeter for building and executing performance test harnesses
• Proficiency in at least one advanced monitoring tool such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or Grafana with end\-to\-end setup capability
• Familiarity with Splunk and Syndigo for observability and monitoring
• Background in designing peak workload models based on historical usage data and logs
• Skills in analysing application risk profiles and translating objectives into test types and monitoring strategies
• Competency in rightsizing performance test environments and negotiating response time requirements with stakeholders
• Capability to lead root cause analysis in production and non\-production environments
• Understanding of how to prepare and deliver customized reports for both technical and executive audiences
• Proficiency in English at an Upper\-Intermediate level (B2\) or higher
