• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced **Power BI Developer** with **7\+ years of expertise** in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing enterprise\-level dashboards, creating complex data models, writing optimized DAX queries, and working with SQL databases and cloud platforms. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision\-making.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex **DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs**.
• Create efficient **data models** using star and snowflake schemas.
• Build and maintain ETL processes using **Power Query (M Language)**.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud databases.
• Optimize report performance by improving DAX queries, data models, and dataset refreshes.
• Configure and manage **Power BI Service**, workspaces, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and Row\-Level Security (RLS).
• Publish reports and dashboards while ensuring governance and security standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Database Administrators, and Business Analysts to deliver reporting solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis for BI issues.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and reporting processes.
• Mentor junior Power BI developers and participate in code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.

• *Required Skills**

• 7\+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Strong expertise in **Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service**.
• Advanced knowledge of **DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)**.
• Strong experience with **Power Query (M Language)**.
• Expertise in **SQL** (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Query Optimization).
• Strong understanding of **data modeling** (Star Schema \& Snowflake Schema).
• Experience with **Power BI Gateway**, Dataflows, Workspaces, and Deployment Pipelines.
• Hands\-on experience with **Row\-Level Security (RLS)** and Object\-Level Security.
• Knowledge of **Microsoft Fabric** is highly preferred.
• Experience integrating Power BI with **Azure services** such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
• Experience working with REST APIs and multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with **SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS**.
• Exposure to **Python or R** for advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of **Azure DevOps**, Git, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake is an added advantage.

• *Education**

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• *Good to Have**

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL\-300\).
• Experience in performance tuning large datasets.
• Knowledge of AI\-powered analytics and Copilot for Power BI.
• Experience working with enterprise\-scale reporting solutions.
