Senior Power BI Developer
Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Compensation: ₹80,000 per Month \+ Taxes
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team for a remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX optimization, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, and enterprise reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise\-scale Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build scalable semantic models and optimize report performance.
- Develop complex DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
- Implement Row\-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, and user access controls.
- Integrate Power BI solutions with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, or similar technologies.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Monitor and optimize report rendering, data refresh performance, and overall system efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
- Support ongoing enhancements and evolving business requirements.
Required Skills
- 10\+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
- Experience developing enterprise\-scale dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Expertise in performance tuning for Power BI reports and data models.
- Hands\-on experience with Row\-Level Security (RLS) and workspace management.
- Strong SQL programming skills.
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Dimensional Data Modeling.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, or equivalent tools.
- Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architecture.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, Spark, or Amazon Redshift.
- Exposure to Python or R for analytics and data transformation.
- Experience with REST APIs and PowerShell scripting.
