Senior Pricing Analyst

To maintain accurate product pricing, control pricing discrepancies, ensure correct selling prices across branches, and support the sales team in following company\-approved pricing policies while protecting profit margins.

2\. Key Responsibilities

• *A. Price Management**

• Maintain and regularly update the master product price list.
• Verify purchase prices, selling prices, MRP, discounts, and profit margins.
• Ensure all branches use the latest approved pricing.
• Update price changes in the billing software or ERP system.
• Maintain proper records of revised prices and their effective dates.

• *B. Price Verification and Control**

• Check billing prices against the approved price list.
• Identify and report incorrect prices, unauthorized discounts, and pricing mismatches.
• Ensure no employee changes product prices without proper authorization.
• Verify special prices and promotional offers before implementation.
• Coordinate with management for approval of exceptional pricing.

• *C. Profit Margin Monitoring**

• Monitor product\-wise profit margins.
• Identify products sold below the approved margin.
• Report unusual price differences and potential losses to management.
• Support management in reviewing product pricing and profitability.

• *D. Branch Coordination**

• Coordinate with Branch Operations Managers, BDMs, Sales Coordinators, and Accounts.
• Ensure pricing information is communicated to all branches on time.
• Resolve pricing\-related queries from sales and billing teams.
• Verify price consistency across Kochi, Calicut, and Trivandrum branches.

• *E. Reporting and Documentation**

• Prepare daily or weekly pricing discrepancy reports.
• Submit reports on unauthorized discounts and below\-margin sales.
• Maintain a record of price revisions and approval documents.
• Prepare monthly product pricing and margin analysis for management.
• Report repeated pricing errors and recommend corrective action.
