R\&D Principal Engineer###

• *Your role and responsibilities**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost\-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for IEC Low Voltage Division based at Faridabad, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:* Order processing \& Engineering activities. Prepare BOM in SAP for standard and non\-standard motors.

• Co\-ordinating with Sales department for clarifying specs of technical quotations. Knowledge of IS/IEC standards, Regulations \& International Standards.
• Working to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction according to incoming requests and providing consulting services to business operations and customers.
• Keeping up to date with technologies, tools, and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting the Procurement department in understanding the electrical material and instrumentation requirements spelt out in the BOM or drawings.
• *Qualifications for the role*** Full time BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 8\- 12 years of experience.
• Knowledge of electrical machine theory, operating principles of asynchronous machines, characteristics, loads and variable speed operation.
• Familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and other applicable software.
• Strong interpersonal skills. · Must be self\-motivated with a high level of creativity
