Senior QA Automation Engineer

• *About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a cloud\-native platform supporting Quote\-to\-Cash (QTC), customer lifecycle, and enterprise integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on experience in test automation, API testing, microservices, Kafka/MSK, AWS, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for APIs, microservices, and cloud\-native applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, end\-to\-end, and data validation testing.
• Conduct API automation, contract testing, service virtualization, and integration testing.
• Validate Kafka/AWS MSK event flows, message transformations, asynchronous workflows, and message queues.
• Perform database testing, data reconciliation, and validation using SQL.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Conduct performance, load, reliability, and scalability testing.
• Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to improve test coverage and release quality.

• *Required Technical Skills**

• *1\. Test Automation \& Programming**

• Java, Python, or TypeScript
• REST Assured, Postman, Karate, PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools

• *2\. API \& Microservices Testing**

• REST API automation and integration testing
• Microservices and distributed systems
• Event\-driven architectures
• Kafka/AWS MSK, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms

• *3\. Database \& Data Validation**

• PostgreSQL and relational databases
• NoSQL databases
• SQL query development
• Database testing and data reconciliation

• *4\. AWS \& Cloud Technologies**

• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch

• *5\. CI/CD \& Performance Testing**

• GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms
• JMeter, K6, Gatling, or similar performance testing tools
• Allure, Grafana, Datadog, or equivalent monitoring and reporting tools

• *Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7\+ years of experience in Software QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• Minimum 4\+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
• Strong experience testing cloud\-native, distributed, and event\-driven systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross\-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of test strategy, test design, defect management, and root cause analysis.

• *Good to Have**

• ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, AWS, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Quote\-to\-Cash (QTC), customer lifecycle, and enterprise integrations.
• Exposure to Salesforce, Oracle ERP, OIC, or ORMB.
• Experience implementing shift\-left testing and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.

Pay: ₹80,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka
