Senior QA Engineer/Team lead

• *About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **QA Lead** to drive the quality assurance process, lead the QA team, and ensure delivery of high\-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with proven leadership skills.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers.
• Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Oversee both manual and automation testing activities across multiple projects.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Drive defect triage meetings and ensure timely bug resolution.
• Ensure test environments, tools, and frameworks are up to date and efficient.
• Track, report, and improve quality metrics for releases.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–8 years of overall QA experience, with at least 2\+ years in a lead/mentoring role.
• Strong expertise in **manual and automation testing** (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Experience with **API testing** tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

• *Nice to Have**

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to cloud\-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
