Job Title: Senior Quality Analyst/Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Analyst/Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing, API testing, SQL, and test automation. The role involves ensuring software quality, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high\-quality products.

• *Key Responsibilities**

● Estimate testing effort and manage testing schedules within Agile sprints or release cycles.

● Understand requirements and generate test cases

● Execute manual test cases and accurately capture the results.

● Identify, document, and track software defects using the designated bug\-tracking tool.

● Collaborate with team members to reproduce and resolve issues.

● Participate in test planning, daily stand\-ups, and review meetings.

● Validate new features and perform regression testing before releases.

● Create and maintain regression suites

● Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test data. ● Identify automation candidates and contribute to the test automation project Required

• *Skills \& Qualifications**

● 4\-7 years of experience in the IT Industry

● Strong expertise in QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.

● Advanced knowledge of API testing and experience with automation frameworks.

● Proficiency in SQL for complex database validations and data\-driven testing.

● Programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or a similar language.

● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).

● Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

● Good knowledge on AI tools for optimising testing.

Nice to Have

● Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).

● Security testing awareness (OWASP guidelines, vulnerability scanning).

● ISTQB Advanced Level or similar QA certification.
