Title: Automation Testing

Experience: 6\-10 Years

Location: Bangalore.

Employment Type: Full\-time.

The team will work with the Onshore QE Lead to evolve the existing Playwright based regression suite into a highly automated model that supports continuous/parallel regression execution, automated test data setup, CI/CD integration, reduced environment dependency, and AI assisted quality engineering.

The objective is to significantly reduce the current regression execution cycle and enable both product level and feature level regression to run with minimal manual intervention.

• *Your future duties and responsibilities**

Enhance and maintain the existing Playwright Java regression automation framework.

. Analyze the current regression suite and identify opportunities to improve execution speed, stability, coverage and maintainability.

. Enable parallel execution of automated regression tests to reduce overall execution time.

. Design automation to support both Product Regression and Feature Level Regression.

. Build capabilities for automated test data creation, setup and cleanup, reducing dependency on manually prepared test data.

. Integrate automated regression suites with GitHub Actions / CI/CD workflows for continuous and scheduled execution.

. Develop Python scripts/utilities where required to support test automation, data preparation, reporting and orchestration.

. Reduce dependencies on specific environments and enable regression execution across DEV, SIT and PAT environments.

. Automate regression execution, monitoring, reporting and failure analysis wherever feasible.

. Investigate failures using application logs, test results and other diagnostic information and distinguish between application, environment, data and automation failures.

. Apply AI assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development, code analysis, debugging and automation maintenance.

. Support integration with defect/intake processes such as Jira/JSM, where applicable.

. Identify repetitive manual activities across regression execution and progressively automate them.

. Collaborate closely with the Onshore QE Lead, developers, business analysts, application teams and other QE teams.

. Follow engineering standards for reusable automation, code reviews, source control and documentation.
