TheStrategic Department within Axis Max Life Insurance plays a critical role in driving the distribution of life insurance products through our strategic partnership with Small Finance Bank. This department leverages Bank’s existing customer base and infrastructure to offer insurance solutions.
Strategic Alliances Department serves as a bridge between Axis Max Life Insurance Company and Bank, ensuring that insurance products are effectively marketed and sold to a wide customer base, while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and performance.

Job Summary
Zonal Manager is a senior leadership role managing the Strategic partnership with banks within the designated region and responsible for overseeing the sales, operations, and performance. This position involves managing a team of sales agents, cluster managers, and support staff, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, operational efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving growth, expanding market share, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders within the region.
Additionally, the candidate will suggest product synergies and identify various customer touch\-points within Yes Bank for insurance sales opportunities. They will provide accurate and timely updates on competitors and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the Bancassurance partnership.
Create and maintain engagement with regional Managers / Branch Managers and other key Bank’s Head Office / Management Team members
Lead a team of Sales Executives (Relationship Associates and Associate Sales Managers and Centre Managers) and monitor their input/output activity and ensure lead generation through various sources.
Increasing insurance awareness and product penetration among Bank’s customers.
Increasing insurance penetration among Bank staff members
Suggest sizzlers and RR platforms for Bank’s employees who provide prospect leads as well as for Axis Max Life ’s dedicated sales team.
Suggest product synergies and capture Bank’s various customer touch\-points for insurance sales opportunities. Provide accurate and timely competitor updates/best practices

Must have 10\-12 years of overall exp. in sales with a minimum of 6 to 8 years combined work experience in the fields of Life insurance sales management, Retail bank distribution, and Channel Management and/or DSA relationship
