Talrak is seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth across the construction and industrial sectors. The role involves promoting Talrak’s waterproofing systems, construction chemical solutions, and related technical products by engaging with architects, consultants, contractors, developers, facility managers, and industrial customers.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical understanding, consultative selling skills, and the ability to convert project opportunities into long\-term business relationships.
- *Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development**
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure, and institutional projects.
- Generate leads through consultants, architects, project management companies, contractors, builders, and end\-users.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers across the project lifecycle.
- Develop market penetration strategies for new territories and customer segments.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
- Understand project requirements and recommend suitable waterproofing and construction chemical solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, method statements, BOQs, and product specifications.
- Coordinate mock\-ups, trials, and proof\-of\-concept demonstrations at project sites.
- Support customers during product selection, application, and implementation stages.
- *Project Tracking \& Conversion**
- Track projects from enquiry stage through specification, approval, order placement, and execution.
- Coordinate with consultants and project teams to ensure Talrak products are specified in projects.
- Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate project tracking reports.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- *Customer Relationship Management**
- Develop long\-term relationships with developers, facility management companies, industrial customers, and contractors.
- Handle technical queries, commercial discussions, and customer concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- *Coordination \& Execution**
- Work closely with application teams, procurement, operations, and management.
- Support project execution teams during critical installations and inspections.
- Assist in collection of payments and closure of contractual requirements where necessary.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product developments, and market trends.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
- Identify new products, applications, and business opportunities aligned with market needs.

- *QualificationsEducation**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
