Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results\-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead business development and sales for our Solar EPC business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling rooftop and ground\-mounted solar EPC projects to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. The role involves driving revenue growth, developing key customer relationships, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers in Commercial \& Industrial (C\&I), institutional, and utility sectors.
- Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline for rooftop and ground\-mounted solar EPC projects.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions with decision\-makers.
- Prepare techno\-commercial proposals, project cost estimates, ROI analysis, and presentations.
- Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close high\-value EPC contracts.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project execution teams for seamless project delivery.
- Build and maintain long\-term relationships with clients, consultants, channel partners, and EPC stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to the solar industry.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and periodic MIS reports.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–12 years of experience in Solar EPC sales or renewable energy business development.
- Proven experience in closing rooftop and ground\-mounted solar EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of solar technologies, net metering, CAPEX/OPEX models, open access, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and project development.
