About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer with strong expertise in Shopify

theme development, custom integrations, Shopify Plus, and performance optimization. The

ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling complex e\-commerce projects

and delivering scalable, high\-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML,

CSS, and JSON templates.

Build custom Shopify themes, sections, templates, and storefront functionalities.

Develop and integrate custom applications, third\-party APIs, webhooks, and payment

gateways.

Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and Shopify app integrations.

Implement Shopify Plus features and checkout customizations using Checkout

Extensibility.

Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall storefront performance.

Implement Shopify Markets, multi\-currency, and multi\-language functionalities.

Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure responsive, cross\-browser compatibility.

Manage Shopify migrations and complex e\-commerce integrations.

Follow coding standards, Git workflows, and deployment best practices.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA engineers, and clients to deliver

projects on time.

Required Skills \& Must\-Have Technical Expertise

Experience: 5–6\+ years of hands\-on Shopify development experience.

Shopify Development: Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, theme architecture,

custom sections, templates, metafields, and metaobjects.

Frontend Development: Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3,

responsive design, and modern frontend practices.

Shopify APIs: Practical experience with Admin API, Storefront API, webhooks, and

custom integrations.

Shopify Plus: Hands\-on experience with Shopify Plus features and Checkout

Extensibility.

Custom App Development: Experience developing or integrating Shopify apps

using React and Node.js.

Performance Optimization: Proven experience improving website speed, Core Web

Vitals, and storefront performance.

Payment Integrations: Experience integrating payment gateways and

troubleshooting payment\-related issues, including Shopify Payments.

Headless Commerce: Practical experience with headless Shopify architecture and

Hydrogen.

Shopify Markets: Experience implementing international storefronts, multi\-currency,

and multi\-language functionality.

Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git, code reviews, debugging, and

deployment workflows.

Migration Projects: Experience migrating e\-commerce stores to Shopify or between

Shopify stores.

Problem\-Solving: Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues

and recommend scalable solutions.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with project managers,

designers, QA teams, and clients.
