### **Role:** **Senior Software Developer**

### **Experience:** **4\-7 years**

### **Location:** **Mumbai/Bangalore**

• *Must\-Have Skills**

• **C\# and .NET:** Strong production experience with .NET Framework 4\.x and modern .NET (.NET 8\+), async programming, dependency injection, configuration.
• **Services and hosting:** ASP.NET Core, Worker Services, Windows services, and hosting the same code base on Windows and Linux/containers.
• **Legacy modernization:** Migrating .NET Framework projects to modern .NET, replacing System.Web/OWIN/WCF dependencies, multi\-targeting, characterization tests.
• **Windows platform knowledge:** WMI, registry, event log, certificate store, service accounts, 32\-bit/64\-bit and native interop.
• **APIs:** REST design, versioning, authentication and authorization, OpenAPI.
• **Data:** PostgreSQL (Npgsql, EF Core/Dapper), migrations; exposure to SQL Server and SQLite.
• **Reliability:** Scheduling, retries, timeouts, cancellation, failure isolation, structured logging.
• **Testing:** Unit and integration tests (xUnit/NUnit), mocking, TDD practices.

### **Good\-to\-Have Skills**

• Messaging (RabbitMQ), outbox and idempotent\-delivery patterns.
• Docker, Kubernetes basics, CI/CD pipelines.
• Python for tooling and integrations; WiX/MSI installers.
• Industrial protocols such as OPC UA; exposure to OT/ICS environments.

### **Key Responsibilities**

• Design and implement services, adapters and agents with clear interfaces and strong test coverage.
• Migrate and refactor legacy components while preserving existing behavior.
• Build secure, observable and resilient components that run unattended at customer sites.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and release support; mentor peers.

### **Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
