Senior Software Engineer

Within ABB's Process Automation business, which delivers automation, electrification, and digital solutions to process, hybrid, and maritime industries, a Senior Software Engineer plays a key role in developing robust software applications. Reporting to the Digital Solution Engineering Manager, you will design, code, and test software components that integrate with ABB's measurement, analytics, and control systems. Your work will directly contribute to helping industrial clients achieve leaner, cleaner operations through efficient, scalable solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing existing codebases, and implementing best practices in software engineering. You will also mentor junior engineers and participate in the full software development lifecycle, working on large-scale, critical infrastructure projects in a supportive, innovative environment.
