Responsible for providing deep technical expertise indesigning and delivering end‑to‑end, high‑performance, scalable, and resilient mobile applications usingReact Native with Expo and modern mobile engineering practices. The role focuses oncross‑platform mobile development (iOS Android), seamless integration with backend services and APIs, offline\-first capabilities, performance optimization, and secure mobile architectures.

The incumbent will also be responsible forexperimenting with emerging mobile technologies, building quickproofs of concept (POCs) to solve business problems, and helping scale those solutions to production. The role works closely with Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, and cross‑functional IT delivery teams to co‑create future‑ready mobile solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Providesenior‑level mobile engineering expertise across application architecture, data handling, integrations, and platforms.

Design, build, and maintaincross‑platform mobile applications using React Native (Expo) with high standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.

Providetechnical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior mobile developers; drive continuous learning and skill development.

Participate in and leadcode reviews, define mobile coding standards, and enforce best practices around maintainability, performance, and security.

ConductPOCs on emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and libraries; help scale and productize successful experiments with delivery partners.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications focusing onperformance, memory usage, startup time, and battery efficiency.

Work closely with product, UX, backend, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliverfuture‑proof mobile solutions covering digital journeys, automation, APIs, integrations, and data.

Evaluate and implement newmobile frameworks, SDKs, libraries, and developer tooling as part of ongoing and upcoming projects.

Ensure themobile technology stack stays current with evolving ecosystem trends (React Native, Expo, iOS, Android).

Provide technical expertise in addressingnon‑functional requirements such as security, scalability, accessibility, observability, and app store compliance.

SupportCI/CD pipelines, release management, app store submissions, and OTA (Over‑The‑Air) updates using Expo.

Key skills required

• *Mobile UI styling:** StyleSheet, Tailwind‑style utilities, responsive layouts

Offline storage caching (AsyncStorage, SecureStore, SQLite)

OTA updates and build pipelines (Expo EAS)

Mobile Platform Integration (REST, Auth, Secure storage, push notification, Device APIs)

Application and mobile architectural design patterns

Performance optimization and memory management

Strongcode review and refactoring skills

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)

• *Good to Have:**

Native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) exposure

Mobile security best practices

Feature flags, A/B testing, observability tools

Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments

B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MSc\-IT

8\-12 years of experience with hands\-on software development background.

Delivered multiplelarge‑scale production mobile applications
