Senior Software Engineer, C# / .NET

We are hiring on behalf of a leading technology company specializing in enterprise software solutions for the manufacturing industry. Seeking for an experienced C\# / .NET engineer to design, build and ship core product capabilities, and to set the engineering standard for a growing team. The product spans data integration, secure access, business logic and analytics, AI\-assisted features and a web interface.

• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Design, build and maintain secure, scalable services in C\# and ASP.NET Core.
• Build reliable integrations that bring data in from enterprise systems and databases.
• Design and tune relational database structures, migrations and data\-access code.
• Implement the business logic and calculations that turn data into results for users.
• Implement authentication, authorisation and role\-based access across services.
• Own build, test, deployment and monitoring, including deployments in customer environments.
• Partner with product and functional teams to take features from requirement to verified release.
• Review code, mentor early\-career engineers and set the reference approach for the team.

• *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5\+ years of professional software development in C\# and .NET.
• Strong command of object\-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and their implementation in C\#,including SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Proven experience building ASP.NET Core APIs and background services.
• Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design and query tuning.
• Experience with token\-based authentication and role\-based access control.
• Proficiency in automated testing, code review and continuous integration.
• Track record of owning a product or major component through multiple releases.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Clear written and spoken communication with technical and business stakeholders.

• *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

• Experience integrating AI models through APIs, including prompt design and output evaluation.
• React with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with ERP data and manufacturing or supply chain processes.
• Docker, CI/CD and software delivery into customer\-hosted environments.
• Regular use of AI\-assisted development tools.
