At Ford Motor Company, we are shaping the future of mobility. The Customer Service Division (FCSD) builds digital platforms used by dealers, customers, and internal teams to support diagnostics, repair, and service operations globally.

In this role, you will contribute to developing modern software solutions that enable seamless service experiences and efficient operations across Ford’s ecosystem.

• Design and develop scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices using modern architectures
• Build high\-quality software using clean coding practices and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into solutions
• Contribute to Agile development practices, including test\-driven development (TDD)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and frequent releases
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability using monitoring tools
• Support automated testing and improve test coverage across applications

• *Must\-Have Skills**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5\+ years of experience in full\-stack or backend software development
• Strong experience in:

+ Java (Core Java) and Spring Boot

+ Front\-end frameworks such as **React OR Angular**

• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience of relational databases (PostgreSQL, AlloyDB , SQL Server)
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices

• *Good to Have**

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud platforms
• Knowledge of containerisation and infrastructure\-as\-code (Terraform)
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, etc.)
• Exposure to API gateways and cloud monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace)
• Understanding of DevOps practices and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Experience in pair programming or Extreme Programming (XP) environments
• Exposure to automotive or large\-scale enterprise platforms
• Understanding of Object\-Oriented Design Principles and fundamental data modeling.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex decision\-making in a rapidly changing environment.
