Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Senior Software Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, Android apps, and iOS applications to ensure high performance, security, usability, and bug\-free user experience. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automation testing, mobile app testing, API testing, and cross\-platform quality assurance processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Application Testing
- Perform end\-to\-end testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Validate UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, functionality, and performance.
- Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and integration testing.
- Identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Android \& iOS App Testing
- Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
- Ensure compatibility across different screen sizes, OS versions, and devices.
- Verify app stability, performance, and user experience.
- Conduct real\-device and emulator/simulator testing.
Automation \& API Testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Execute automation testing using Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Bug Tracking \& Documentation
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Performance \& Security Testing
- Conduct load, stress, and performance testing when required.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and application risks.
- Ensure applications meet quality and compliance standards.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3\+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience in:
- Web application testing
- Android app testing
- iOS app testing
- API testing
- Automation testing
- Hands\-on experience with:
- Selenium
- Appium
- Cypress
- Postman
- Jira
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
