• *About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

• *In this role, you will:**

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in\-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid\-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

• *Required Qualifications:**

• 4\+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• *Desired Qualifications:**

• Backend Development

+ Strong hands\-on experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 6\+

+ Expertise in C\#, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and RESTful services

+ Solid understanding of: Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and Enterprise design patterns

+ Experience with microservices architecture, service orchestration, and API lifecycle management

+ Proficiency in Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ

• Database \& Data Layer

+ Strong experience with SQL Server

+ Expertise in Database design, Query optimization, and Performance tuning.

* Front\-End Development

+ Hands\-on experience with Angular (Angular 8\+)

+ Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Modern UI component frameworks

+ Experience integrating Angular apps with .NET Core APIs

+ Familiarity with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)

+ Understanding of UI/UX best practices and performance optimization

• Python (Nice to Have)

+ Working knowledge of Python for Automation and scripting, Data processing and transformation and Backend utilities and integrations

+ Ability to integrate Python capabilities within the .NET ecosystem

• Cloud, DevOps \& Tools

+ Experience with Azure cloud platform (preferred)

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (EPL\-X DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.), Automated build and release processes

+ Strong experience using Git\-based source control

• AI \& Productivity Tools (Must have)

+ Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot / AI\-assisted development tools

+ Ability to use AI tools for Code generation and refactorin, Unit test generation, Debugging and documentation

+ Understanding of secure and responsible AI usage within enterprise standards

• Quality, Testing \& Security

+ Experience with Unit testing and integration testing, API validation

+ Knowledge of Secure coding practices, Application security fundamentals

+ Exposure to Logging, monitoring, and diagnostics tools

• Professional Skills

+ Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

+ Excellent problem\-solving and analytical skills

+ Effective communication and collaboration abilities

+ Ability to own components/modules independently

+ Proven track record of delivering in SOW\-driven engagements, meeting SLAs and deadlines

• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices\-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver end\-to\-end features in an Agile environment
• Develop responsive, high\-quality Angular\-based front\-end applications
• Ensure code quality through best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns
• Optimize database performance and manage data access using EF Core and SQL Server
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Contribute to application security, scalability, and reliability improvements
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot / Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality
