Senior Specialist - Architecture

• *Role description**

Technical Skills: (Primary)

ø Data Solution architect with expertise on MS Fabric platform \& Snowflake

ø Experience with delivering Business Intelligence \& analytics solutions

ø Should have deep Insurance P\&C domain knowledge Skills

ø Primary Technologies: MS Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Function App, Azure Logic App, APIM, Entra ID

ø Database Technologies: Azure SQL MI, MS SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake

ø Strong experience with Duck Creek Clarity, Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims

ø Experience in conducting Design \& Code Reviews

ø Build and manage Lakehouse architecture and data models in One Lake

ø Optimize data processing using PySpark and distributed computing techniques

ø Experience with MF Fabric capacity estimation, Tenants, security, Data Governance, Data Cataloging, Data Mapping, etc.

ø Understanding on Snowflake Platform, Snowflake COCO

ø Experience of working with XML \& JSON file

ø Familiar with Agile software development methodologies preferable Azure DevOps (ADO)

ø Must have Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.

ø Strong Insurance Domain Knowledge

ø Ability to design and present the architecture to Senior leadership of customer

ø Strong ability to work with client stakeholders.

Roles \& Responsibility

ø Define Azure \& Fabric platform architecture and roadmap

ø Own platform standards, reference architectures, and guardrails

ø working directly with CXOs delegates to deliver transformational initiatives

ø Define enterprise data architecture for integrating Duck Creek platforms within Azure ecosystems.

ø Understanding business needs and designing their Data Analytics platform

ø delivery of complex consulting projects in Data \& Analytics practices

ø Should have good understanding of data, technology and organizational challenges facing Financial, Risk and Operations

ø Facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from the functional experts and the user community

ø Lead/Assist with architectural strategic thinking, information solutions and road maps to drive architectural recommendations

ø Understand potential impacts of proposed solutions on other systems, processes or projects. Articulate and document data designs, considering tradeoffs, cost and benefits

ø Drive technical vision and architecture designs to consensus across multiple teams

ø Experience in data migration from On\-Prem databases to Cloud

ø Participate in effort estimation, project task planning and work allocation of tasks to the team members

ø Mentor team leads on all design best practices, usage of GenAI tools

ø Support Duck Creek Clarity – Pre Sales activities
