Senior Staff Engineer (Sitecore XM Cloud)

• *Job Description** **Requirements**

• Experience : 7\.5\+ years
• Strong hands\-on experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore XP/XM, and enterprise digital experience platforms.
• Expertise in Sitecore AI/Sitecore Stream, with an understanding of AI\-enabled content management, personalization, search, and customer engagement capabilities.
• Strong development experience in C\#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 8 or later.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise applications, microservices architectures, REST APIs, GraphQL integrations, and webhooks.
• Hands\-on experience with Sitecore Search, Sitecore Personalize, Sitecore Content Hub, Sitecore Connect, Experience Edge, Sitecore SXA, and Sitecore JSS.
• Experience implementing Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS), source control practices, and automated deployment workflows.
• Strong frontend development and architecture skills using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Coveo Search and Sitecore Search, including search configuration, relevance optimization, and content discoverability.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and AI\-powered personalization.
• Experience working with or architecting agentic AI platforms and AI agent\-based solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud\-native architecture.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, performance optimization, observability, and enterprise engineering standards.
• Proven ability to lead technical architecture, design reviews, modernization programs, and AI adoption initiatives.
• Experience mentoring developers, managing globally distributed engineering teams, and establishing technical communities of practice.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture and technical leadership with hands\-on development, delivery, and production support.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem\-solving, and technical decision\-making skills.
• Strong ownership, innovation, thought leadership, and commitment to continuous learning in Sitecore and emerging AI technologies.
• Sitecore certifications and relevant cloud certifications are desirable.
• Vercel certification, Agentic AI certification, and digital marketing certifications or professional memberships are advantageous.

• *Responsibilities**

• Define the overall architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap for Sitecore AI initiatives and enterprise digital experience solutions.
• Design, develop, and support enterprise\-scale Sitecore applications, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives from traditional Sitecore XP/XM implementations to Sitecore XM Cloud and AI\-enabled digital experience platforms.
• Implement AI\-driven capabilities for personalization, search, content generation, content optimization, and customer engagement.
• Architect and integrate solutions using Sitecore AI, Sitecore Stream, Sitecore Search, Sitecore Personalize, Content Hub, Connect, Experience Edge, and Generative AI technologies.
• Implement and manage Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS) to enable source control, automated deployments, and efficient environment management.
• Design, develop, and optimize Coveo Search and Sitecore Search solutions to improve search relevance, content discoverability, and user experience.
• Develop headless and composable digital experience solutions using Sitecore JSS, React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Design and integrate REST APIs, microservices, GraphQL, webhooks, AI services, and cloud\-native components.
• Develop enterprise AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, and semantic search.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices for architecture, coding standards, security, performance optimization, observability, and DevOps.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution assessments with business and technology stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on Sitecore architecture, AI capabilities, implementation patterns, and development best practices.
• Conduct knowledge\-sharing sessions and cross\-functional training to promote Sitecore AI adoption and effective Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Evaluate new Sitecore AI and emerging Generative AI capabilities to identify opportunities for business innovation and platform enhancement.
• Lead Sitecore cloud transformation, platform optimization, and modernization initiatives across globally distributed engineering teams.
• Provide hands\-on support for production incidents, technical troubleshooting, enhancements, and ongoing development activities.

• *Qualifications**

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
