Senior Systems Engineer -Senior Power BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Expert to design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, and stakeholder engagement, enabling data\-driven decision\-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Dashboard \& Report Development

. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI

. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and visual insights

. Create visually compelling and user\-friendly reports for executive stakeholders

2\. Data Modeling \& Transformation

. Build and optimize data models using star schema and snowflake schema

. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query

. Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, ServiceNow, etc.)

3\. Advanced Analytics \& DAX

. Develop complex calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)

. Implement KPIs, trend analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics

. Optimize report performance and query efficiency

4\. Data Governance \& Security

. Implement row\-level security (RLS) and data access controls

. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards

5\. Stakeholder Management

. Collaborate with business teams (IT, Finance, Operations)

. Gather requirements and deliver actionable insights

. Provide training and support to end users

6\. Automation \& Integration

. Automate reporting processes and data refresh schedules

. Integrate Power BI with tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, and ServiceNow

Technical Skills

. Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop \& Power BI Service

. Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language)

. Experience with SQL and database concepts

. Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling techniques

. Experience with REST APIs / data connectors

Analytical Skills

. Strong problem\-solving and analytical thinking

. Ability to interpret complex datasets into business insights

Soft Skills

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management

. Ability to work independently and in cross\-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience in ITSM / Service Management reporting (Incident, Change, SLA metrics)

. Exposure to Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)

. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate ITIL Foundation (good to have)
