Senior Technical Architect (Contract, 3–4 Months) – Flutter & Node.js

We're a pre\-seed funded startup building a verified, peer\-to\-peer consumer marketplace app for India, launching in Bengaluru. The design is final and our Flutter and Node.js developers are on board. We need a hands\-on architect to lead them and deliver a scalable, production\-ready product end to end, from architecture to launch.

• **What you'll do***

\- Design the full system architecture: mobile app, backend, admin panel and website.

\- Lead, mentor and review the work of our Flutter and Node.js developers, and write critical code yourself.

\- Build the core: real\-time chat, matching and feeds, ID verification (DigiLocker), payments and in\-app purchases, notifications.

\- Set up AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, analytics and marketing attribution.

\- Make sure the app is fast on budget Android phones and ready to scale to lakhs of users.

\- Launch on the Play Store and App Store, then hand over complete documentation.

• **Must have***

\- 8\+ years in software development, with 3\+ years as an architect or tech lead.

\- Hands\-on experience taking a two\-sided marketplace or C2C consumer app from zero to scale (rentals, dating, classifieds or services marketplaces).

\- Strong production experience with Flutter (Riverpod or Bloc) and Node.js (NestJS or Express).

\- PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, AWS, payment gateways and app\-store billing.

\- Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar), and the ability to set up an AI\-assisted workflow for the team.

\- A track record of shipping apps to the Play Store and App Store.

• **Good to have***

\- KYC, UPI and DPDP Act experience.

\- AppsFlyer, Adjust or Branch, and Firebase.

\- Startup launch experience.

• **Engagement***

\- Contract: 3–4 months, with extension possible.

\- On\-site in Kochi, Kerala. The hiring process takes place in Kochi, with the final round in person.

\- Start: immediate, or within 2 weeks.
