Job Summary

SAP S/4HANA Fiori / UI5 Developer

Key Responsibilities

• *Application Development :** Design and develop custom SAP Fiori and UI5 applications using JavaScript, XML, HTML5, and CSS3 based on functional and technical specifications.

• *Fiori Elements :** Build and rapidly deploy applications using predefined SAP Fiori elements and smart controls (e.g., List Reports, Object Pages).

• *Standard App Extensions :** Extend, customize, and configure existing standard SAP Fiori applications and perform in\-app/side\-by\-side extensibility in SAP S/4HANA.

• *Backend Integration :** Seamlessly integrate front\-end applications with SAP S/4HANA systems by consuming OData services via the SAP Gateway.

• *Fiori Launchpad Management :** Configure Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, groups, roles, and spaces utilizing the Fiori Launchpad Designer and SAP Build Work Zone.

• *Testing \& Optimization :** Perform unit/integration testing, debug issues, and optimize application performance for responsiveness and speed.

Required Technical Skills

• *Core UI Technologies:** Strong proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3\.

• *Development Environments :** Hands\-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and SAP Web IDE.

• *Integration \& Services :** Deep understanding of OData services, REST APIs, and the SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

• *Backend Fundamentals :** Familiarity with ABAP, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), and Core Data Services (CDS) views is highly preferred.

• *Fiori Architecture :** Solid understanding of S/4HANA UX architecture, MVC (Model\-View\-Controller) patterns, and responsive design guidelines.

Qualifications \& Soft Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven track record of end\-to\-end (E2E) SAP implementation or rollout projects.

Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross\-functional, Agile/Scrum teams

Key Responsibilities

1\. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

2\. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

3\. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module\| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

4\. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure \& closure of escalations.
