Senior Test Engineer - Automation

5\+ years experienced QA Engineer with strong experience in Automation \& testing of web and mobile applications and working knowledge of test automation frameworks and API testing. Strong experience in automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright), as well as experience with Postman for API testing is required

This role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality delivery across all stages of development and deployment.

Future duties and responsibilities

List principle responsibilities.

. 5\+ years total experience in QA, with a strong focus on Automation testing

. Plan, design, and automate test cases for web and mobile applications.

. Perform functional, regression, UI, compatibility, and user acceptance testing using the automation scripts

. Work with developers and product owners to understand business and technical requirements.

. Perform API testing using Postman, including validation of endpoints, parameters, response codes, and data integrity.

. Contribute using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright under guidance from automation leads.

. Identify, log, and track bugs using standard defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps).

. Participate in sprint planning, stand\-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile QA team.

. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce reported issues.

. Document and maintain clear test reports, traceability matrices, and test evidence for delivery audits.

. Continuously learn and adopt new tools or frameworks that improve test efficiency.

. Support UAT and production verification activities when required.

. Knowledge in Restaurant POS Systems will be a plus
